Close-up of the bottom section of the stunning stained glass window at St Mary’s Basilica, Kevelaer in Germany.

Kevelaer can be found in the district of Kleve, in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. It is the best visited Catholic pilgrimage location within north-western Europe, with more than 800,000 pilgrims – mostly from Germany and the Netherlands – every year, paying homage to the Virgin Mary.
