The Photos Of Roy Cunningham

This is a muscid fly, which is a generic family name for a range of flies that includes the common housefly. (From the limited research I’ve done, it is possibly Phaonia tuguriorum, a conclusion based on the orange legs. Could be way off the mark though – there are so many to choose from!).
This fly was sat on a gate that we had to traverse in order to get into the Cors Goch Nature Reserve in Anglesey.
