Butterfly: Large White On Yellow Flower

This large white (Pieris brassicae), also known as a cabbage white, was seen at Far Ings Nature Reserve in North Lincolnshire over the weekend.
A lot of butterflies were seen on the wing but very few settled – and when they did, it was only briefly. Hence, there was no point switching to a more suitable macro lens
