Grey Heron At Leighton Moss

It’s always great to see a grey heron (Ardea cinerea) – such a graceful bird for its size. This one was seen at Leighton Moss, resting on a grass bank; the reflection of a large reed bed in the water behind gives this image a surreal colour cast!
