This Embden Goose is resident at Rhodes Lodges, adjacent to Alkrington Woods in Middleton, Greater Manchester. Known locally as Charlie, this poor bird is missing its wing feathers – but seems happy enough despite that!
The Embden goose is a breed of domestic goose, believed to have originated either in Germany or Holland.
